My latest Embarrassing Moment!

Yep!  That's me...in a mask!

What I won't do help out....it's a tough job, but someone's got to do it I suppose!  Look at how I tricked Dana into wearing the silly mask too - I'm a genius, I tell you!

The GREAT TURTLE HUNTER!

Yes....that's me, the GREAT TURTLE HUNTER!! 

So maybe the girls showed me how it's done...but it didn't take me long to get the hang of this, I'M A NATURAL BORN HUNTER...kinda' like a Blood Hound, only BETTER!  Hey, there's not a fly around that stands a chance with me...so a turtle is a piece of cake!

No...I'm not tip-toein''!  Just because I'm in a field of flowers prancing around doesn't mean it's girly or anything!

A guy can enjoy a romp through the little flowers now and then...and still be the GREAT TURTLE HUNTER!   :)     stop snickering!

J&M Air Conditioning now Aire Serv of the Coastal Bend

The Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce conducted a new beginnings ribbon cutting ceremony for J & M Air Conditioning and Heating’s expansion and new affiliation. The name has changed to Aire Serv of the Coastal Bend but the location is still at 420 East Concho in Rockport. Representing the Chamber were members of the Bay Blazers Team, Chamber staff, fellow Chamber members, and Board of Directors.

Jack Britton, of J & M Air Conditioning was approached at the beginning of 2012 by the national company, Aire Serv, about joining their “World Class Service Professionals”. Britton states: “I discovered right away that they shared the same code of ethics for customer service and would allow me to provide expanded services and products to customers. We were very excited to be selected to become an Aire Serv franchise.” The existing office space has doubled since starting in 2006 which includes a new entrance and filter store. We have added two new service technicians and plan to add a full-time dispatcher soon. When asked what people can expect from the new partnership, Jack replied;” “World class service from start to finish with the same down home comfort they have come to expect…and of course you can expect to see more of Freon!”

Home Sweet Home

Ahhhh....nap time!  The crew is all out working hard...and me, well someone has to hold down the fort!!

And what a better spot than my new Home, Sweet Home is our new front office reception area and soon to be filter store!  

My very own Dog House painted just for me...sporting, what else but my picture and my Name!  Super Cool!  

Yes, it's the perfect spot in the office...not too far away from any action....and the occasional trip outside whether it be for the much needed "Freon Leak" or just to soak up the sun!

Hey, it's a tough job....but somebody has to do it!

When DOGS Fly....?

....LOL, and apparently WE CAN, cause I don't see any strings attached here!  At first glance, like a lot of things me and my nose run across, it looks fun - exciting - & let me at it.......but the more I look at it the less my tail is waggin'.

What if the wind quits blowing?....hello face plant!  Flies would be whizzing by me so fast I couldn't chase them...or even know they where there!...and chasing flies is one of my favorite pastimes!  And I'm a pretty big guy...what if a smaller dog flew right into me??....OUCH!

The moral to the story......why do you need a moral to the story?...I'm already off doing something else...like taking a nap, all this thinking has made me tired!

Did you get to go to LaMardi Gras??  Someone sent us this picture of the Little Bay Sea Queens with Jeremy in our mobile A/C unit we use in the Parades...AWESOME!

What I want to know is.......

I had my beads on...mingling and greeting everyone...petted, I don't know how many times...a million "ahs" and oh, what a handsome dog.........and still no picture!  What's the world coming to?  LOL

Old McDonald's Farm (next door!)

Yesterday....much to my surprise, I spotted a very unusual dog...short, round and looking like the poor guy ran into a wall (worse than the pekinese that Dana has!) with a peculiar wiggly tail!

As I investigated...this creature smelled nothing like any other dog!  

And as it turns out....it wasn't!!!

This is.....wait for it......A PIG!!  Cute as she may be...don't they belong on a Farm???

Oh, well....I think I will call her Daisy....(hey, she needs a name...I can't keep saying "hey you pig"!  That's just not "paw-lically" correct!

Lynn is trying to make friends....we tried to give Daisy a flower - SHE TRIED TO EAT IT! 

Last time I try to give a girl flowers......  :(

Okay....I'm a pretty easy going guy, it goes along with being "One Cool Dog", but this is kinda like sleeping abuse!

You're trying to take a well deserved nap and what happens...someone tries to use you as a pillow!!  What's with that??  I don't mind sharing my comfy bed, but use the part I'm not on!

How is that poor tree still standing?  OMG...and there's still green grass growing around it!  Haven't we all stood in line at one time or another...and in this case, hope privacy isn't an issue!  And, is the guy at the tree going to get back in line when he's done??...you know he'll have to go again by the time it gets to the end of this line!!

FAT TUESDAY??

I don't know about you, but we are all getting ready for LaMardi Gras!!  And in the spirit of dressing up, wearing masks, catching beads and just generally having a little fun - I thought I would share with you a few of my friends and what may be an inspiration for my very own costume during the parade on the 18th!
  Now, I really like this...KING...or maybe QUEEN?  I'm not really sure, but I really like the crown...don't you? 

And this is the Jester look...not sure I'm the "funny man" in the group.  This is my suggestion for Troubadour!

Now...this is ridiculous!  The only way I can tell there is a dog under there is by his paws!

And this is my FAVORITE one of ALL!

This guy is little, but I'm tall...wouldn't I look super cool in this?  HeHe...that looks like Troubadour riding on top!

Don't forget to come see us in the parade...we'll be throwing beads, havin' fun and oh, you'll get to see our new logo!  Lots of awesome changes going on!  I'm most excited about my new dog door so I can go out any time I want!  I can't understand why Dana is excited about having a new desk...she has one now, but that's okay!  See you at the LaMardi Gras Parade!

Groundhog Day? Seriously?

Can you guess who is laughing at us??  Yep, the Groundhogs!

Really...we watch for one of these little fellows to come out of the ground and look to see if he casts a shadow or not to determine how much more winter we will have!  Who's bright idea was this...and what was he smokin'?  LOL

I think I need to research this one a little more!  Not to mention the way it's set up - if he sees his shadow (which, hello means the sun is out!) we have six more weeks of winter.....where as if he doesn't (meaning it's overcast and gloomy!) we will have an early spring.  Is it just me...or doesn't that seem backwards!!!

I think we should declare a "FREON DAY"!  If I dig something up in the yard...it was lost, and if I don't dig up anything...well, I just wasn't interested!

Knitting 101 + Dog!

What will they think of next??  

Guess I need to get this for Dana...she swore that she swept up a whole dog after I stayed with her last week!  Come to think of it, maybe I should get two books and give one to Lynn...!  Between Me, Molly and Penny she could be knitting like crazy!! :)

How does this work exactly?  

For that matter...the book says: Stop vacuuming and Start Knitting!  How do they get yarn out of sheep hair?...it's all matted up and curly...do they wash the sheep before they get started?  I saw a cartoon where when you pulled the snag on the sheep you could just keep pulling and it would all come off!!  (it was funny to see a sheep with no fur! :)...)

I don't know, but wouldn't it be easier to stuff a pillow with all that hair?
